While LFC is new to Central Florida, our staff has a combined experience in the area of over 50 years. There is not a group of more experienced "soccer people" starting with our on the field trainers to our executive and support staff.
Our club was born from the idea that Central Florida needed another option for a national platform. Too many good teams fail because they lose the top players to the "big clubs". Why? What do those big clubs have that others don't? The answer is - access to the top leagues. The big clubs play in "ECNL'' or the former "DA" leagues that give players the opportunity to be seen on a national stage and compete at the highest level and most clubs operate in their own neighborhood community not knowing what the options are or how to gain access to these leagues. The staff at Liverpool FC IA Central FL has the experience and background to provide access to these leagues for players and teams to gain exposure at the highest level.
Girls
For the first time ever, a club from Central Florida, Liverpool FC (LFC), has been accepted into the Developmental Player League, a national platform for top teams and will be a part of the newly formed Girls Academy League (GA). The GA was formed to replace the Development Academy (DA) and features clubs from all over the nation. We will play in the DPL Southeastern conference against teams from Florida, Georgia and North Carolina. We will also attend National Showcase events against teams from all over the U.S. These showcases will be full of exposure to the highest level of play and access to college coaches for those that aspire to play beyond high school.
Boys
US Youth Soccer is the largest youth sports organization in the country, they operate leagues in all 50 states. Those leagues range in ages 3-19 incorporating beginning level players all the way through to the elite levels that USMNT players like Jordan Morris, Jack Harrison and Walker Zimmerman played in. The National League Showcase series is a top tier showcase in the U.S. and the Sunshine Conference League gives teams an opportunity to test themselves against the best from Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. Our top Boys teams will be playing here and will also travel to National Showcase events against teams from all over the U.S. These showcases will be full of exposure to the highest level of play and access to college coaches for those that aspire to play beyond high school.
We’re beyond excited to bring this level to more players in Central Florida, we know this region is full of talent.
Even if your dream does not include playing soccer beyond high school and you plan to go pro in something different, Liverpool FC International Academy Central Florida may have a team for you. Our local and regional teams will play in traditional leagues against other local clubs and offer many levels from recreational to competitive soccer.
